Product Description The Copper Alloy Core - Superior Thermal Performance The core of the nozzle is made of high-temperature Copper Chromium Zirconium and plated with an Electroless Nickel Plating. This special alloy retains its strength at much higher temperatures compared to a regular copper alloy. Copper alloy offers one of the best thermal conductivity, allowing you to print abrasive filaments at normal nozzle temperatures. The M2 Hardened High Speed Steel insert - Exceptional Wear Resistance The M2 Hardened High Speed Steel insert has been heat-treated to a hardness of 68 HRC. It is also plated with an Electroless Nickel Plating and coated with a nonstick nano WS2 coating. With a coefficient of friction of 0.035, it provides exceptional wear resistance. Plating and WS2 Nano Coating - Nonstick Surface The copper body of the nozzle is plated with an Electroless Nickel Plating. The hardened steel insert is also plated with an Electroless Nickel Plating and coated with a nonstick Nano WS2 coating. This coating is a low friction dry lubricant coating, which keeps the nozzle tip clean and prevents material accumulation. It provides a very low coefficient of friction (0.035), ensuring smooth filament flow through the nozzle.
